acalculator has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising trackers, and no cookies. The site is a set of static pages.

What you type

Calculations run in your browser. The numbers you type are not sent to us. They appear in the page address (the query string) so that you can share or bookmark a result; anyone you share that link with sees them.

What your browser stores

Your choice of US or metric units may be kept in your browser’s local storage, so the next page uses the same units. You can clear it in your browser settings.

Server logs

Our hosting provider serves the pages and may keep standard request logs (such as IP address, page, and time) for security and operations.
