Vorici Calculator

The Vorici Calculator is a comprehensive tool for Path of Exile socket crafting. It calculates the optimal strategies for achieving desired socket colors using Chromatic Orbs, the Jeweller's Method, and Vorici's white socket crafting service.

Socket colors are heavily influenced by an item's attribute requirements. Strength items favor red sockets, Dexterity items favor green sockets, and Intelligence items favor blue sockets. The calculator uses a weighted probability system to model this behavior.

The Jeweller's Method is an advanced crafting technique that uses the Crafting Bench to manipulate socket counts while preserving colors. It's often more cost-effective than spamming Chromatic Orbs for difficult off-color combinations.

White sockets can be obtained through Vorici's Betrayal service. As Research Captain (Rank 4), he can turn 1-6 sockets white on an item. The probability is weighted towards fewer white sockets, with ~51.5% chance for 1 white socket on a 4-socket item.

This depends on your risk tolerance and the specific colors needed. The Crafting Bench provides guaranteed results but costs more than the statistical average. Spamming orbs is cheaper on average but involves variance and risk.
